E400 Coupe Acoustic Comfort Package
Hello, Does anyone know if the Acoustic Comfort Package is available in the E400 Coupe yet? I know it's available in the sedan, but I'm holding out to get it in the coupe. I had my local dealer send me an order guide dated 06/2017. In that order guide it says the Acoustic Comfort Package has "Delayed Availability" whatever that means.
I would hope that many of you would say "the car is so quiet you don't need it". I want the car to be quiet without it, but I want the car to be ultra sound insulated with it. I'm moving away from my BMW because I just don't like the road noise.

Thank you for the update. That's a disappointment. It would be a different story if they decided to make all the added sound insulation a standard feature of the car, but that doesn't appear to be the case. I guess I just need to drive it and decide for myself. My dilemma comes from sitting in all the Lexus sedans. Everyone knows Lexus puts a lot of effort into creating a quiet cabin, but I don't really want a boring ES or the GS with engine noise pumped into the cabin. BMW still thinks I want to hear all the road noise and the engine sound, and I would never consider an American car. I love the E-Coupe, but I really wanted the acoustic comfort package. Back to square 1 for me or.... I'll just have to wait a few years.

I have had my e400 4matic coupe for a few days now. It is very quiet, IMO. Much quieter than the BMW 550xi I just traded (and loved). Go spend some time in one and see if you really need more sound proofing.
