I just picked up a 2018 e400 coupe. What an amazing car! I had a couple question. When you use the app to remote start the car, how do you open the car without it turning the car off? I've seen on some videos a little light show on the taillights. Does anyone know how to do it? Is there a way to turn off the red sos not ready? Is there a way to use the parking assist when pulling straight into a garage? I've got a tight fit garage and if the car did it itself that would be amazing. Well thanks in advance. Oh and any info on rh rims? Are they any good?

The extra rear light is the rear fog light, activated by a button next to your headlight dial. The SOS Not Ready is because you need to activate your free MBrace trial.

hey bzjam - Congrats on the purchase ! Regarding the remote start, unfortunately it is the design on MB, as well as many other manufacturers. There is no current workaround based upon my multiple inquires. I can only suggest (and this is what I've done) is to pursue feedback opportunities to MBUSA as to your displeasure with that design feature. I've repeatedly share my disappointment on that one design feature (flaw). Join the battle.
