short W207 e coupe CGI - P2301 ,04,07,10
Hi am new from Thailand my car e250 coupe CGI went down for month ago after inspection the ignition coil transistor was blown ,
i took an ecm to my friend shop who work as ecm tuner they retrieve the data out and they said ecm was good but ignition function need to fix,
I replace new transistor (correct part number ) just for test to make sure there nothing short and plan to order new ecm BUT>>>
WITHOUT ecm i use multimeter to test continuity between ignition coil connector and ecm connector .... i found some continuity between yellow line (believe it ground) to positive
even at battery connector positive and negative there's some continuity that make my meter beep....
then plug the ecm in and start the code read out
P2301 - The control line to the ignition coil of cylinder 1 has a short circuit to positive
P2304 - The control line to the ignition coil of cylinder 2 has a short circuit to positive.
P2307 - The control line to the ignition coil of cylinder 3 has a short circuit to positive.
P2310 - The control line to the ignition coil of cylinder 4 has a short circuit to positive.
this make me believe that there's something short
the car can start and then shutoff Mils glow and throw code as shown
anyone has a diagram or any suggestion thank you in advance

2010 E250 CGI
I have the same problem as yours. On cold start, the car will crank, run and stall straight away. Check engine light is on with the same 4 error codes as yours. Mechanic told that I need a new ECU. However, I doubt that's the problem. After multiple start attempts, the engine will run and idle poorly (engine shaking badly). Once warm up, the car will crank and start up smoothly with the check engine light gone.
