Removing Fuel Filter 2013 W207 E350 Blutec
Hi can anyone help me with information on removing the Fuel Filter on my 2013 E350 Blutec.
There is an alluminuim pipe across the top of the engine with an extrusion that sits out above the Fuel Filter.
I have removed the bolt from the bracket at the front of engine and also the bolt in the centre and it still wont come of.
Any help on this issue most appreciated.

That is the charge air pipe coming from the turbo.. You have to unbolt the brackets on the front of the engine connected to this pipe and then disconnect it from the charge air hose at the front of the engine. At that point, you should be able to slide it away from the turbocharger outlet. Be sure not to damage or lose the green o-ring on the outlet of the turbocharger or you will have all sorts of check engine light issues, low power output from the engine and excessive noises under the hood. After you get the pipe off, it will be easy from there.

Hi thank you for the quick reply.
i have taken the bolt out of the bracket at the front of of this air flow pipe and also the bolt in the centre as seen in the attached photo.
i can wiggle the pipe but it wont come away from its connection at the front of the engine. Do i need to remove the black plastic piece mounted to front of engine that this air flow pipe is attached to? (Highlighted in attached photo)
Do i need to remove this ??
