Soft-top issue?

Soft-top issue?
Hello, i'm looking to buy a Merc E cabriolet from a small dealer and found this beauty, my question: is that soft-top problematic in any way or just a cosmetic issue? Also will it leak or have trouble during snow/rain?
The car is 8-hours away for me (just one-way) so if i manage to figure out if it worth going or not would be a huge help.Considering the 8 hour trip just one-way, is it worth it? I will also test it at Mercedes service.
Where i'm from these cars are very, very rare (Romania) and this one is the only good looking one at 14.750 euros.
Thank you very much (i also attached reference pics for intact soft-tops from other E cabrios).
As an aside: are these soft-tops reliable? I will keep the car outside most likely and here the weather is all-seasons. Should i get a coupe instead? I really wanted the convertible..
UPDATE: found out the car was reconditioned (in a concerning way): it had a hole in the back-side of the soft-top and big cuts around the window..i don't know how the dealer repaired this..but that coupled with what i have seen in the pictures (posted) about the soft-top not closing properly air-tight..i decided to not go see it. Also the dealer told me the car had no service book..that was not really a deal-break because i would have it inspected anyway by Mercedes, but this coupled with the other thing..
For reference purposes here are images with intact soft-tops:

I had on e of the pullies on the right side rear that pull the headliner back when opening the roof break. Broke after 3 years and about 20 k miles.
