Seat Belt Warning – Shut Off?
When my 65-pound dog sits on the passenger seat, an audible warning sounds every few seconds. Any way to silence the damn thing other than connecting the seat belt? VERY annoying!

This happens because there is a sensor in the seat cushion which detects whether there is an occupant. If someone (or in your case, a dog) is occupying the seat, the car activates the passenger side airbag (which is normally deactivated if the seat is empty). I believe engaging the belt is your only (practical) option.

Get a spare end connector from an old seatbelt and plug it in. May turn it off and will just need removing for a real passenger for the proper belt. Not tried it but may work.
