Windows tint
hello,
I just got my windows tinted by a highly recommended shop.
when I got my car back after 3 hours of waiting, the installer told me the rear windows were an issue.
One of them was not straight, the other one doesn’t go all the way to the bottom. He said the reason being is because “the rubber” sealant is higher towards the edge of the window.
There was also a chip on the rear window that left a small bubble.
I am looking for advice regarding the rubber sealant. Is this an acceptable excuse?
I believe that for a 230 dollar job there shouldn’t be any excuses to not properly align the tint.
Regards,

the company that tinted my coupes windows - removes the door panels to do the job correctly. no issues here and they even did my complete front windshield (the hardest of all).
