Air Cap rising and lowering based on speed
Hello,
I had a 2012 E350 where I could push a button to "manually" activate the front air cap. I now have a 2014 E550 and when i push the same button, it activates the air cap but it only rises above certain speed. It then retracts when it falls below that speed threshold. This gets really annoying as it can keep moving up and down when activated. The owner's manual says this is normal but I want to know if there is a way to override this speed threshold. I'm hoping to control it regardless of the speed.
Does anyone know a way?
thank you in advance

Mercedes changed this to the speed related activation with the facelift MY14 and then back to the manual control with MY16 (I think). This was discussed in a German forum and if I remember correctly this can be re-coded by a dealership that knows what they are doing.
