bye bye to my E550 Cab
I am turning in my 2013 E550 Cab next month. Its frustrating since the car has not retained good value. I only have 41K on her and would really like to buy her out. My lease end value for the car is around $33K......The car books out for $28-29K.....I tried to work a deal with the dealer.....I told them I would purchase it for 28K.....they wanted to sell it to me for 31K. bummer, I really liked the car a lot.....but i guess its going to go back to MB Financial and probably off to auction.....anyone have any opinions on this??

Would you rather buy a different 2013 E550 Cab that maybe wasn't cared for as well as your car, one with far more mileage, one that maybe had been raced or has had some mechanical problems or body damage or even a wreck? Have you considered a new lease on your current car? There's something to be said for familiarity.

My 13 E350 cab with 27000 miles brought $28k on a trade in and I had to fight for that. My 07 CRV held its value 10 times better than every upscale car I’ve owned including the 13 E350 Cab, 06 SC 430 (26000 mile), and 12 BMW X3 to name a few. Out of the upscale cars, the SC430 held its value the best.
