2012 Cabrio Sport Mode
I have a 2012 non-airmatic cabrio and was wondering what the sport mode actually does. Does it change the shift points in the transmission? Does it affect the suspension in anyway? I am looking for options for lowering the car.

According to the sales brochure for the 2012 e class Cabrio and coupe the sport setting changes the dampening rates of the shocks, the throttle response and transmission shift points. I own a 2012 550 Cabrio and I feel a significant seat of the pants difference in the sport mode, but the suspension remains at the same height.
