I've worked out that I have a problem with my mass air flow sensor (on the B circuit), but having removed it from the air inlet pipe, where it joins the flexible rubber section I can't get it back together!
It looks like the rubber pipe was held on by a plastic collar that snaps onto the sensor section, but I couldn't remove it, and have now snapped it. If I buy a used MAF sensor, it's likely to have this collar still attached.
Does anyone know how to remove the collar without breaking it?
If I buy a new one, does it come with the collar?

Also, does anyone know which side is the 'B' circuit?
