Exhaust options for 2016 E550 C207
Hello. I’m a new owner of a 2016 e550 Coupé and like many here I want to better hear my exhaust when driving. I am coming from a 2011 Jag XF which is an 8 cylinder as well and I put on catbacks from Mina Design that sounded great for me. It had an audible growl that was not offensive to casual observers.
i am looking for a similar upgrade that can amplify the v8 sound without cutting and welding. I’ve read the threads on rez delete and exhaust delete and I am not willing to do that yet since I still have warranty (factory and extended) on the car. I’m looking for it to have a bit of a throaty sound with a decent growl. It has more HP and torque than my Jag but it just doesn’t sound like it does.
Any advice and suggestions are appreciated. Also for those that know of a place in Northern Virginia where I can get this done (someone mentioned hi-flo customs) I’d appreciate that info as well.

car will always be quiet if u keep both resonators .
getting an amg muffler only will make it sound better but with both resonators removed its just epic ..
what ever mufflers u chose from other brands has a different notes on them .
i checked a lot of videos and i personally love and AMG exhaust note
there are a few catbacks systems out there and videos but remember, the car sound is different in real life vs what u hear on videos ( depends how it was recorded )
