Flash Gordon

I have 2017 E400, should be the same as the previous model years. I Watched You Tube for replacement instruction, removed 3 screws and disconnected two electrical connectors, the panel refused to come out no matter how hard I tried to pull it. What did I do wrong? Seems like something is holding the panel besides the 3 screws. Please help, many thanks in advance.
