CTEK (56-263) Comfort Connect Cig Plug
The first winter with my A207, will this work as opposed to an under the hood option?

This would not work in my 2013 cab. The power is cut to the outlet when the key is off. This device requires a "hot" outlet at all times.

You ALWAYS want to connect it as directed to the terminals under the hood-- otherwise you will be bypassing the circuitry that monitors the charging in the car, I just wired the included semi-permanent connectors to the car and when I wanted to charge it, it only took a minute to open the hood and plug the Ctek in. The Positive terminal in the car can be unscrewed and the positive ring tongue terminal can be placed under it. I connected the Neg./Ground/Earth terminal to a near by screw in the body (I think it was the support for the washer fluid filler). You can by the optional longer "harness" and run the plug to grill, and not even have to open the hood-- if you park in a garage this would work fine.
