M-B Orig. Part Needed
I have been looking for a replacement part for my 2017 E400C4 and I have not been able to find any dealer who can supply it. This seems odd for a car still under warranty. I can find similar parts in different colors-- and the right color but without Ventilation.
I have an upholstery shop that will replace the center panel ($5-600)-- but they warned me that the Leather COLOR and PERFORATIONS may not be an exact match to the original. They indicated that I should buy an OEM cover from Mercedes and they could install it. I can not find a NEW one; I'd buy a used one if I could find one . . . Anyone have any ideas where I might find this part?
I got this message from one Dealer's Parts Advisor: "Unfortunately, it doesn't look like this part is currently available. I don't even see a quantity on hand in Germany."
