Strut or body brace
Hi guys, I have a very low mileage 2010 A207 e350. While the car is generally very tight I do notice some body twist with the roof closed when the car is subject to twisting forces. The roof makes a small noise. While I guess this is normal I was thinking about some additional bracing like a strut brace in the interest of keeping the car as tight as it is today for a few more years. Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with this?

The W207 is not a model that most folks drive in a manner that body braces are needed or even desirable. But there are a few commercially available for Front, Rear, Strut Tower. I'd guess a cabriolet could benefit from front, rear and perhaps mid-body (across the floor in the back seat area) braces.

One of the "problems" with these braces/struts on a luxury car is that often the nice smooth luxury ride goes away as the handling improves and body flex lessens.

Body brace
I don't drive it hard but I do want to keep it for a long time and I don't want it to get floppy. Each day it gets twisted twice entering and leaving my office car park. I was not aware there was a ride downside. Thanks for your reply and the links. I appreciate it. Am I correct in assuming any W204 brace product will fit. Its a cabriolet

An A207 cabriolet or coupe is based on the dimensions of the C-class of the same years. So a strut brace for a C class should fit an A207 or C207 perfectly.

2012 E350 Cabriolet now SOLD to my son
So wondering if the 2012 A207 E350 cab is the same dimensions as the 2010-2011 W204? Brace above looks great. Please post up info on it. Supplier /part number cost would be great
