Hello. I have a 2011 e350 coupe that is having a problem with bluetooth. Although bluetooth audio and calls work perfectly well, I cannot seem to get the car to receive text messages. I have enabled all options on my iPhone 6 Plus to show notifications, with the exception of one. While I was doing my research on the problem, I discovered that many people have solved this bluetooth text problem by enabling "show notifications" in the options for MB Bluetooth. This option doesn't exist in my settings. I have tried to get the car to read text messages by using voice command and saying "Text Messages," but the car always replies with "Function currently not possible". I have attached various photos that show what my current settings are, and what my screen looks like. I would like to know if anyone has had this problem and managed to solve it.
