2016 E550 Cab - Anti Freeze Smell
I have a 2016 E550 cab with 24K miles that has a persistent anti freeze smell. The car has been to the dealer 8 times where they've changed the anti freeze reservoir twice and turbo coolant line, but the smell remains. While it does seem to be isolated to the passenger side there are no evident drips or leaks. MB has pressure tested the system at each visit and can't find the source of the smell. At the last visit they said we were going to have to live with the smell as this is how the car naturally vents itself. Hard to believe, has anyone had a similar experience?

I'm calling Bull****. I have the same car, no smell... sounds like perhaps there was a leak and it's know fixed if pressure test passes... gotta be some antifreeze lingering somewhere ? passenger side huh ? is the heater core behind the glove box ? you can keep fighting with the dealer or do some trouble shooting on your own... dunno how hard it would be to pull the carpet on the passenger side back ?
