Recommend All-Weather Floor Mats

Buying 2016 C207 E400 Coupe from Carmax. No floor mats included. Need recommendation for all-weather floor mats. Don't mind buying OEM mats so they will secure to the floor grommets. Do OEM all-weather mats secure to these grommets? Or do I need the carpet mats first to be able to secure, then put all-weather on top? TIA...

Mercedes OEM Floor Mats for C207

Yes, these mats use grommets to secure them to the floor. I have them in my 2013 E350 coupe. Good quality.

These are the same mats that I have in my car.

OEM velour mats have snaps that fasten to the floor. I have WeatherTec-type M-B floor liners on top of the velour mats. The liners have a bump to allow clearance for the floor snap, but do not actually snap to the floor. All weather floor mats are typically thicker than thin liners. Do you want a thick, heavy rubber mat, or a thin plastic liner?

I would use the all-weather mats year round, so would want something sturdy. Furthermore, I don't want velour mats unless absolutely necessary. This is what I have found online Part No. 207-680-56-01-9G33

I use Weathertech floor liners that do snap down. Highly recommend them.

I have silk beige carpeting, which shows every speck of dirt. Consequently, I bought the Weathertech liners because they go up the sides and above/behind the pedals, which keeps everything contained. My OEM mats are in a box in a closet and I use the Weathertech ones year-round. They snap to the floor grommets just like the OEM mats.

I have these in my C207; they fit very well and do lock down. Quite a bit less expensive than the excellent WeatherTech mats.

2016 E400 conv sport

Just taken 8/8/19
I picked up a set of weathertech all weather mats for the front of my a207 and absolutely love them.
Living up here in the Pacific Northwest (Seattle/Tacoma) the winters will destroy carpet. I love how these go so high up the edges, fit perfect and yes they snap in to factory spots on mine.

I have the Rep Classic mats in my C207 and love them since I don't drive in the winter, they are a great compromise between all-weather and velour.
