Sorry! Aircon Submenu?

So firstly, I apologise for asking a noob question that no doubt has been answered a thousand times before on this forum.

In my defence I have tried looking all over the place and haven't been able to find an answer specific to this model (I have no REST button, which seems to be the ubiquitous solution shown online). Now I know that I can try random button presses to figure out which is which, but as some of the buttons will at some point become 'modify value' buttons, I'm not going to risk guessing, when somewhere friend and patient is kind enough to waste that minute to repeat themselves for me here :-)

So I therefore reserve the right to ask the occasional dumb question while I get up to speed here and thank you all for your patience and understanding and (hopefully) help.

I've actually owner my car for four years already and have a number of interesting quirks which I'd like to share with you all and get a response on, as I'm sure I'm not alone out there, although Mercedes seem less keen to suggest the same.

I'll rop them in over the next few days because I don't want to come across as a spammer :-)

Again thanks in advance to the 'first responder' and hello to everyone here!

Specifically, what part of the air conditioning system are you trying to RESET ? I have 2017 C207 and I never heard of a "reset button" for the A/C. Is your concern the Compressor, Fan, Controls, other?

I think he means the REST button, available on other Mercedes, that continues to run the heater after the car is switched off. It uses the residual heat from the engine to warm the cabin without need to idle the car while you are in for a quick stop. Gas/emissions savings is the goal.

As it's a button I don't have, I can't say what it's for, but I'm glad you guys have sorted that out. XD

So back to the question, for the car which I DO have, can anybody clarify what is the actual button press sequence to get me to the engineering menu?

Thanks again
