207 top hydraulic cylinder leak
Hi my cabriolet top has leaking cylinders. The part numbers are 207 800 00 72. These are two jacks and the new parts seems very expensive. I’ve seen for other Mercedes models there are repairs that can be done on these cylinders.
can anyone help with information on if a repair is possible and how I should get about it.
the top works well as long as there is fluid but the fluid keeps running out due to the leaking cylinders.

Most of the time a leaking hydraulic cylinder is due to a damaged or defective o-ring/seal. It is not difficult to repair the cylinder or expensive. See this video below. Also, if you can remove the cylinders, there maybe businesses in your area that will rebuild it for you. (most dealers send the cylinders out to a supplier to rebuild-- or simply replace them)
