Exclamation 2013 E350 Cabrio - Direct Injection Intake Valves

Hello, I am considering the purchase of a 2013 E350 Cabrio with the M276 motor, variable valves, and DIRECT INJECTION. Because of the Direct Injection (GDI) system the intake valves will become crusted with carbon buildup; because they are no longer washed by the usual Port Injection method. Using injector cleaner will only clean the spray nozzles in the chamber Not the intake valves. Has anyone found a carbon buildup that needs an engine tear-down yet?
Two questions: 1- Does this engine have a Air/Oil Separator from the factory that should be in the maintenance schedule to empty/clean? 2- Has anyone installed an Oil Catch Can? If so what brand?
