PROBLEM; COMMAND DISPLAY REMAINS COMPLETELY DARK
2010 E550 COUPE - 50,000 miles - (C207) VIN WDDKJ7CB9AF027052
Primary; Screen suddenly went dark when a Telephone Call came in via Bluetooth while I was loading/unloading CD's to Record into Music Register.
Secondary; CD's refuse/resist ejecting. (Eventually only able to eject one on one occasion despite/during numerous attempts with various methods)
Repair Attempts;
While operating 'on the blind', it seems all sound and related Command Function buttons and Rotating Selection knob function correctly.
I have already tried;
A) Removed (for an extended period of time), inspected, cleaned and REPLACED all fuses I could determine to be even possibly related to any/all Command Functions (Fuse #'s 11,16,26,67,81,83,84,85,86,87)
B) Disconnected both battery cables for as long as overnight.
C) Above A&B simultaneously.
Thoughts;
The timing of the 'blackout' event (during CD exchanging/Incoming phone call) lean my diagnosis to think some kind of 'reset' would work. Trouble is, I can't find anything to support my analysis or on how to reset the related specific sub-system.
