Help, can't remove rearview mirror
Hi, I own a 2010 E250 with a panoramic sunroof. Hadn't opened the sunroof since last year until last week. I got grinding sound and the shade won't open. I think I can fix it if it's the washer trick on the motor. My problem is this..
I set out to remove the roof lining, or at least drop the front bit so i can get at the motors. I can't for the life of me get the rear view mirror to come off so I can access the 3 screws on the frame underneath. I've pulled at it and used persuasion tools, bit am afraid it's gonna just snap at this stage. Any advice on this would be appreciated

Thanks for the pdfs, but I still can't get that mirror to budge one bit. Is there particular size open ended spanner to use. Very hard to see where the spanner actually goes. I can't believe no one else has had this problem. This is one pain in the ***.
