Driver rear window does not close the final cm when opening driver door
Hello fellow mb fanatics,
I recently discovered an issue with the driver side rear window: when I open the driver door (or operate the front driver side window) the rear window also lowers a bit, this is ofcourse due to the way the two windows are connected with eachother, however when I close the door again it does not pop up the final centimeter again, thus leaving a slight gap, the only way to get rid of it is when getting in and starting the car, then to manually close the rear window using the button, or when exiting the car (after closing the door) use the key while next to it (holding lock button) to fully close all windows.
I double checked the passenger side windows, and when you close the door there the rear window automatically pops up the final bit like it should.
So far I've already tried resynchronizing them (however only using keyless entry, so hitting the start button while not holding the brake to turn the car on without the engine, I could try it again pulling off the button and using the key like you would normally, but I dont think this would make a difference?) but that did not seem to have any effect (it would make the rear window temporarily stuck in the top position, making me able to get out of the car and close the door without the rear window going back down/up again at all, but as soon as you turn on the car again, or get out lock and unlock and get back in, this resets and the rear window jumps down again briefly (as it should) but does not go back up again.
Could this be something as simple as a blown fuse somewhere? I am also sure there is no blockade or anything, the rear window would pull up easily using the buttons, it just doesn't automatically go up again.
Thanks for the read

The window reset is the same for most Mercedes
You need to roll down the windows then lightly lift the window switch to raise the window dont lift the switch all the way up on the front ones, once the window is at the top pull the switch all the way up and hold for 10 seconds, do this for each switch, the rears you should be able to lift and hold once they get to the top.
Or if you know someone with a good OBD scanner, they have the feature to reset the limit I dont know if other scanners do or dont, I have used my Autel DS808 to reset when I first got my car.

I figured it out, while working on the car I had to disconnect the battery, and after that the passenger side window had the same issue.
Apparantly the window reset has to be done with the key inserted and turned on (engine off), keyless did NOT work.
I then kept my driver side door open, lowered the front driver side window completely (hold it for a few sec til you hear the click), then hold it all the way up and keep it in top position for a few seconds.
Then do the exact same thing for the rear driver side window (this proces so far is the same as in my previous merc).
But then I redid it holding both driver side FRONT and REAR at the same time, lowering fully, holding for a few sec, then having it go all the way up.
Repeated the process for the passenger side, both windows work as intended again now.
