How can I remove the rear shelf speaker grills for cleaning? If I can clean the black fungus spots off without removing the grills, how do I do that? Thanks in advance.
Move head restraints to upper most position, use plastic wedge to carefully pry forward and up here is underside view. Replacement is left 2077580708, right 2077580808 need VIN to supply color code.

Just tried and the grilles came off easily. Push them forward to the front of the car while prying up with plastic wedge at the rear of the grille. I opened the top and left the key on so the rear head rests stayed up. My grilles have black discoloration on them so Im off to Home Depot to get Concrodium mold remover ( black mold remover ) . if that works, I'Il post up. Last resort is to remove the mold and then lightly dust with silver paint without clogging the grille mesh.
Btw the speakers are not attached to the grilles. But be careful any way...LOL

I got the grills off but couldn’t get rid of the black spots. Tried every cleaner I had, including bleach, to no avail. I think a little silver paint dabbed on with a Q tip will do the trick.

That is good to know. Haven't gotten the stuff from Home Depot as they were out. Based on what you found, i might just get some silver ceramic 2000 F paint and lightly dust them, enought so the grills are uniform in colour.

Ok so sorry for the long delay in replying to the post. That material from Home Depot did not work.
My A207 had silver colour grilles . Here is how I fixed the issue
I used VHT 2000 degree F ceramic silver paint. AutoZone $12 for the can.
I gave the grilles 3 very light dusting coats letting them dry in the Hot Georgia sun :-) between coats.
Results look perfect. I used that high temp paint to avoid issues as the sun bakes those areas.
LMK if that works for you too.
BTW That paint comes in white black silver red. May come in other colors too if you order
Also the grille material is metal. Try to avoid filling the tiny little holes .
There is a black fabric in the speaker opening itself on the underside of the grill that is why I only did three very light coats, dusting it on. I did not want that getting paint on it and getting all stiff and maybe breaking.
But if it did i would just cut it out with a razor knife and glue in some very thin speaker cloth.
