2012 E550 Cabrio
New kid in town. Sorta.

Thought I should introduce myself and say hi.

A few may know me from a series of C63's that I modded the heck out of, and some others may know me from MB True North on Facebook.

I live in Vancouver, BC and after a serial arsonist torched my last C63 (and some other damn fine cars around the 'hood) I went from the 3 pointed star to the 4 rings and got an Audi SQ5. Missed me some V8 tho, and so when my buddy offered me his wife's 2012 E550 cab I jumped at the chance to add to the stable. Fairly loaded, super well maintained with only 33,000kms (20,500 miles) its in the lovely grey known as Tenorite in Canada and Steel in the US, and a dark red interior. This was the colour of my first C63 and I always loved it. Anyways, car was just too clean and cheap to pass up. Plus, it was great to know history and know that I got a clean car that hadn't been bagged to hell and back. Dont always get that chance, so here I am - Back on MBWorld after a 2 year gap. I plan on driving this for a little while before I start to make it my own, and decide which direction I want to go with it. The A207 is based on the W204 C-class anyways, so with any luck I have sold the parts I cant use and kept the ones I can. I should be so lucky lol.

I am approaching 3,000 posts and 9 years of lurking around here, so I have a long and sordid history on MBWorld. You can count on me jump into a fray now and then, but if I have answers to your questions (and I plan to learn fast) you can count on me to help. I once drove 7 hours cross border to help a member from the C63 forum who I had never met get into his first AMG. I love these cars, and so far they have loved me back. It's great to be back home.

Beautiful car! I actually just traded my 2012 grey metallic e550 coupe for a w205 c63. The 207 is a great platform, especially with the m278 in it, congrats! I'm sure you're going to love it!

You are going to love that. You've had a great motor, now you will have a great suspension, and brakes, and and and.... congratulations!
