So got my hand on an e250 coupe 2009 model for a steal.
unfortunately the sump plug is leaking on further research the crappy design plastic sump pan has a metal sleeve in it for the sump plug to screw into , that's come looseand is turning in the plastic sump pan. Been advised the sump pan needs to be changed .
The sump pan is not 100% accessible though, seems part of it goes under the front sub frame,
Has anybody here replaced the sump pan before?
Any advise with regards to the subframe needing to be dropped ?

Curious where you are located. We dont get an e250 in North America.

EDIT: I should more accurately say that I think we only get the E250 in the sedan, and dont think we got in 09.
Could be wrong, and often am.
