C207 coilovers suspension problem
Hello all,
Any one out there have replaced the stock suspension on an E550 coupe?
Which coilovers did you go for ?
Did you had electronic suspension?
I have a 2013 E500/E550 coupe, and I have changed to KW DDC plug and play suspension, and had suspension go two times to Germany to re-check and made some changes, but my car still rides almost like stock, manly the rear is way to soft...
What I discovered, C207 has a suspension ECU, the same as in cars with airmatic W219/W212, and the ECU controls the damping alot!
An example: When in a coble stone road if I change to sport the ride turns harsh (like in my W209 KW v2) but imediatly starts to soften the ride, thats the degree of adjustment it makes...
Since the E coupe it's not an AMG the ECU settings previlege the confort ride, that's a pitty for a car with this engine and chassis!!!
Don't know the way to go now, but like the confort and sport option in a suspension, but the sport mode could be a more sportier, damm
For what I've found only KW have products for the electronic suspension.
