2017 Coupe spare tire not holding air.
My C207 that I bought pre-owned has a spare tire that has obviously been used but doesn't have excessive wear. It is not holding air so I am looking at ebay for a replacement. My question is does anyone know if I can use the temporary spare from an E class sedan? It has a different part number (2124000002) versus the coupe 2074000102. The sedan version is coming up about $50 cheaper.

212 is not compatible with 207.

OK that's too bad but not surprising. Thanks for the info. On the plus side I think I found the cause of the leak (a large staple) and I will try to get the tire patched instead of replaced.

Update: OK now that I've done some googling I have found three important points that I need to realize:
#1 Temporary spare tires are not meant to be repaired. Apparently the rubber is much too thin to take a rubber rope patch.
#2 The spare tire only has a lifetime of 50 miles of max use. I have no idea how many miles the previous owner drove on this donut spare.
#3 Tires in general have a lifespan of 10 years (unmounted) and 6 years once mounted on a rim, regardless of the miles driven.
Buying a used donut spare will not help with points 2 and 3 and obviously repairing it will not work so I am left with buying a new donut tire from my local tire shop ($175 before taxes and fees).
