How to tap audio signal from factory fiber optic HK system?
I am planning an audio system upgrade and want to know how to tap into the audio signal from the HK fiber optic system. Does anyone know how to get left & right signals from the factory amp? I am thinking of getting a powered convertor such as the one below, any thoughts?

Hi, in case you haven't solved this issue, I did the same thing on my old car (03 E320) that had the HK sound system and the fiber optic controls. I pulled the speaker leads from one factory speaker to run my sub using this part, the LC1i https://www.audiocontrol.com/car-aud...-upgrade/lc1i/
