'10 E350 Coupe ESP issue

Hi, I have a weird ESP issue.
A message came on the dash that ESP is unavailable, so I stopped shut the engine off and once I started it again the message was gone. There are no lights or messages on the dash and all seems fine. However now when the wheels are slipping there are no ESP lights flashing (the ones that show that ESP is intervening). Has anyone experienced the same? Does it mean that ESP is not working at all?
Thanks

Been there, done that. A couple times, in a couple cars.

Two most common possibilities are that 1) you just booted up weird (there is a 'computer' after all) and its a one off or 2) its the beginning of the end of your battery. The AGM batteries we have degrade quickly and are fine one day and nearly toast the next and need to be replaced. Along the way you can get some ABS/ESP messages.

I would just carry on for now.

Hi mate could be a problem with the ABS sensor at the wheel. If it doesn’t get a proper reading from the wheel the ESP stops working. Good Luck
