Hey all,

Took my car in for tires and the guy said my punkin for the rear dif is leaking a little. How much does a service like this usually run? If I get it on a lift, you think I'd be able to do it myself?

if it's leaking, it will more than likely need more than a service...are you aware of where it's leaking? Even if it's just the rear cover, you'll have to pull it and disassemble it to fix it. If it is the axle seal(s), you'll have to pull the axle(s) to replace the seal(s). Are you prepared to do that work? if not, you might want to go get a quote from a mechanic.
