2011 E350 Cabriolet
New Member - First Benz - 2011 E350 Cabriolet

I have a 2011 E350 Cabriolet. The other day, I experimented with the passenger seat lumbar support as my wife was driving. Each of the lumbar support buttons worked fine. Then all of a sudden, the passenger seat lumbar support buttons all stopped working. However all other seat adjustment buttons worked just not the lumbar support buttons. I assumed it was a blown fuse.

Oddly enough, the next morning the passenger seat lumbar buttons started working (for good measure I tested the driver's seat lumbar support buttons and they also worked fine). However, when driving at night, I noticed that the lumbar support buttons were no longer illuminated. Not sure if it was just my imagination but I could swear they used to light up at night.

The questions I have are:

1) First off, are the lumbar support buttons supposed to illuminate?
2) Doing a little research, I see that there are several seat fuses (I think 6; a few under the hood, a few in the interior drivers side, and a few in the trunk right hand side near the spare tire).

Are there any specific seat fuses that control the lumbar seat lights?

PS - I tried calling the dealer but they were of no help.

If your lumbar support controls comprise a set of thumbwheels in a pod between the seat cushion and the center console, then no, they do not illuminate.

I'm sorry that I can't answer your fuse question, but I do believe that topic has been discussed on this board in the past; have you tried a search?
