Oil Filter Housing (cap) - Should I care about brand?

I am finally starting to tinker on my car a bit. I can see wear around the top of the oil filter cap, so I am going to replace it. My question is should I care about which brand I get as a replacement? Should I go OEM or am I safe with any reputable brand? I do like the MB logo on the OEM cap, but overall any thoughts here? I'm leaning towards OEM, but figured I'd ask the question.

what is price difference as I think that is main part of equation here..

If same price or within some range of each other probably NO reason to change.
SO question is how much savings do you need to entice you to go aftermarket?
