2011 Mercedes e220d coupe
Hi,
I was just cleaning the engine bay yesterday and noticed a little vent that’s been blocked off behind the front grill. Then noticed another one on the other side of the Mercedes badge, this one wasn’t blocked off it, it had the inlet pipe connected.
My question is, can I take off the inlet pipe and connect a double pipe system like one the V6 engines so I get more air flow?
Also if I did connect the second pipe, would I have to get it programmed with the ecu for the fuel to air ratio ?
