E-class Cabriolet (a207) Roof won't go back up completely.
Bought the 2011 e350 on Friday. The roof all worked etc. Now 2 days on the roof is faulty. It all goes down fine, but won't complete the action of going back up. The main roof locks on but the rear windscreen will not descend. Any ideas for common faults?

The micro switch that let's the car know to drop the glass is either malfunctioning or broken. I accidentally busted mine on my 209 while replacing the hydraulics, according to tophydraulicsinc.com the 209 and 207 system are virtually identical. Please see the video linked. Mine was the switch on the drivers side (US) directly behind the rear seat.

Success!! - Thank you for your help. We found that the faulty switch had been bunged up with putty to make it work temporarily!. I bought the new switch, it is now fitted and all working fine.
