DTR and Side Marker Light shorts

I believe I have a short in both my right sidemarker and my DRL. I was having a flickering issue and when I changed them out nothing lights anymore. Does anyone know if these lights are fused or where they are fused? I don't see anything in the fuse box's mentioning them.

What is DTR?
I had a problem with the turn signal and reverse light and traced the problem to the broken wiring in the trunk, a known issue caused by the opening and closing of the trunk. Not sure if it is the same as your problem or not.
The wiring is behind the trunk lining on the right side (2012 E350 Coupe).

DRL'S are daytime running lights, on our cars (if equipped) they are either L shaped or straight lines that sit at the bottom of the bumper. These are probably tied to the front sam if anything but I understand your issue being located in the rear.
Recently I ran a scanner and for some reason it shows a short error in the left dtr light and nothing for the right.. even though the left side is functional and the right gets no power. The side marker light I think may be the socket itself and I plan to replace it even though it began working shortly after I installed a new bulb.

sorry, I can’t help you but, I have never seen anyone else use DTR Instead of DRLs.
