2010 e550 coupe
What is this part?



I pulled the panel under the glovebox the other day and noticed this cable detached from its plug. It connect to what looks like a vent and I’m guessing it has something to do with measuring the temperature delivered to the passengers feet. Id like to fix it but the plug itself is broken and I don’t know the proper orientation of the wires. If anyone could help with a part number or something that would be great.it’s a 2010 e550 coupe.

Are you sure its not for a light for the passenger footwell that a previous owner or mechanic broke taking the same panel off?
