good morning......
so my dashboard speaker has started to crackle....i've purchased a new one. does anyone have any instructions on how to change it out (i've looked on youtube etc no luck). or is it better to take it somewhere?
this is for a 2011 e350 convertible

Hi,
New to the forum, just chipping in...
I replaced the centre speaker on mine in January.
The replacement was a plastic cone, not paper.
Genuine from Mercedes £38.
All you need is something like a little plastic wedge to pop the cover off the dash top and then literally pull the speaker out and unplug it.
It just pops in, no screws etc, so no real tools required.
New to the forum, just chipping in...
