21" wheels
Hi Hope everyone is doing well. is it possible to change the wheels from 18" to 21" ? what are the pro and con? I have a 2014 E550 Cab.

When the sidewalls get low, the ride gets rough, the tires and wheels also are much more susceptible to pothole damage. I have a car with 20" wheels and low sidewalls and it can't stand hitting anything in the road. I have had to replace one wheel at a cost of $2600 because of a drain grate that just was not quite flush with the road. Be careful with the big wheels and skinny sidewalls.

To keep the same diameter of the wheel tyre combination as the rim size increases so there is a reduction in the measurement of the tyre wall height. Thus increasing rim size the wall height will decrease giving a harsher ride. Reduce the rim size and the wall height will increase giving a sifter ride. Not following this will cause the car to misreport speed.
