So I had a little garage incident with my 2015 C207 and, fortunately, the fuel filler door was the only casualty. I'm working on sourcing the replacement but does anyone have any experience replacing either the outer panel or the entire filler door assembly? At first, and second glance, it doesn't seem all the obvious as to how the door skin or entire assembly would be removed and replaced.
Looks as though you may only need panel here are part #s for both. Photo depicts rear of panel to remove/install, see attachment to replace recess if need be.
