Greetings all.
I will soon grow accustom to the door mounted switches. I'm just a creature of habit, I guess.
Um hmm.
A fine example. Very low miles (less than 20,000). Near perfect original paint (Ember Mist).
Good morning.
I'm sorry to edit my original answer to your question. I really don't know why the Ford dealer came through. I am grateful that they did.
Best,
Mark

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I read the ordeal you endured with great interest as I too have a 2013 E350 Coupe (Silver Palladium Metallic paint w/ "beige" leather interior). Recently purchased from Mercedes-Benz of Wesley Chapel (Tampa). I bought the car to "replace" my beloved 1991 300 CE (W124) coupe. God, but I love that car... In any case, I also discovered upon getting the E350 home and going through it thoroughly that the seat bolsters don't work. The car came with a 90 day or 4000 mile warranty. I've brought this issue to the salesman's attention (who enthusiastically assured me prior to signing on the dotted line that EVERYTHING had been checked out and worked as intended - as he pointed out the brand new set of 4 Michelin tires). They want me to make an appointment with their service department and promised me a loaner car. I live in Sarasota - well over an hour away... Now that I own the car, the salesman has stopped responding to my emails... At the same time, I am receiving all manner of "hey how did we do" marketing requests. I also love the car - also the AMG package, ventilated seats, etc. Car has just over 56k miles. I feel the price paid was fair - as long as it is in the condition they represented it as being in. I'm really starting to feel your pain! Oh, and to ad insult to injury, I still need to sell my beloved 300CE on... Anyone out there interested in this iconic old girl?
Cheers!
Wes

So....I think that Mr. Toad is nailing it...this is a poorly designed system. After having all blatters, tubes, and pump replaced...it worked for a couple of months, then died again. Mercedes then replaced the burned out pump (round 2). That lasted for about 3 months, and the pump fried again. I got tired of dealing with this. Thankfully the seats are comfortable without this feature. Aside from this hiccup, it has been the most reliable car that I've ever owned.
Good luck,
Mark
I can tell my air bladders are toast even though they technically still work (the compressor/pump runs intermittently and frequently for no appaent reason, so there's got to be a leak somewhere). 2010 550 with only 20K miles on it. I'm probably just going to unplug the compressor and call it a day. I never use them anyway.
Even if I had a warranty, I honestly probably wouldn't bother fixing it. I don't think it's worth someone tearing apart the seats, hoping that they don't unknowingly break/rip anything, and putting them back together perfectly so that there's no leaks (which would obviously negate the purpose of the repair), annoying squeaks/rattles, missing pieces, ripped foam, etc.
Check out this link with the all the seat diagrams; good luck getting all that right lol. https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-c...-deflates.html
