Replaced Climate CTL PNL, Now A/C Light Blinks twice
Hi guys and gals. My wife’s 2014 E350 cabriolet (A207?) had a climate control panel with a crazed/cracked surface under the buttons. So I replaced it today with a new MB part. My question is….Do I need to do some sort of A/C Reset after changing the A/C control panel? Because the A/C doesn’t work now.
Everything works fine except went the A/C button is pressed, the light blinks twice and then stays off. The compressor never comes on. An internet search fines info on A/C Reset buttons for several MB models. I tried several none worked. I found one page that said the reset button for W212s is on the side of the compressor. I don’t see one. I scanned for codes and there are none.
So I plan to remove the center vents and head unit tomorrow morning and check the connections on the new A/C control panel. And if maybe reinstall the old panel.
Anyone have any ideas? Anyone ever replace this panel before?
Thanks for reading.

Or independent using Xentry (MB diagnostics), need to teach in and normalize AC actuator motors.

Thanks for the reply/help. Of course I was looking for an easy fix so this is disappointing to hear. But if that’s what I have to do I’ll do it Monday morning. If I had disconnected the battery before starting the job, would it prevented the need for reprogramming?
