2013 E 350 cabriolet
steering wheel control buttons need replacing

I have a 2013 E350 convertible. The radio controls on the right side of the steering wheel are showing signs of wear, i.e. peeling off, little air bubbles under the top layer etc. I am just wondering 2 things....Has anyone had any luck with these aftermarket "peel and stick" labels I see advertised online and/or how big a process is it to simply purchase a new control unit for each side of the steering wheel and replace the entire unit myself? Thanks
