2014 E350 coupe P0627
Hello everyone and thanks in advance.
I have 2014 E350 coupe (C207) approx 92000 miles. It's running absolutely fine. No issues at all.
Its do for a safety/emissions test here in PA. I have an EM327 OBDII tester that communicates with my phone.
I've never used this with this car before but at inspection time with my other vehicles I test to make sure that the emissions is "ready for testing"
so I don't get surprised when I actually go for the state test. While doing this I'm receiving a diagnostic code of P0627 Fuel Pump "A" Control Circuit /Open
the MIL is not illuminated (it does work when I start the car) and the OBDII tester states that the MIL is off.
It is telling me that the car is NOT ready for testing though none of the readiness indicators have a red X beside them. All items are either Green checkmark or
it states that the test is not supported on this vehicle.
I have found a couple of posts menting this code. However, these threads the car wouldn't start or ran rough or died after it got wet. Nothing with the car running normally.
I don't know where to go from here. Car is running perfect, I have no check engine light. But if its not ready for testing I can't get inspected.
also I don't seem to be able to clear the P0627 code.
Any thoughts or ideas regarding this P0627 code on this car would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all.
Marc

MB P062700 - The output for the fuel pump has an electrical fault or open circuit. Visually inspect fuel pump / electrical connections.
