My 2009 E500 coupe has multi-zone air conditioning, including a separate outlet for the rear seat with its own temperature control. I see that the rear unit has two internal ducts leading up to the air outlets. The outlet on the left seems to work as advertised, and will deliver air as per the temperature selected. The outlet on the right however only blows very hot air, regardless of the temperature that's selected. I've also noticed that the right hand side of the console gets very hot, particularly next to where my left knee is (the car is right-hand drive). There are no codes showing on my iCarsoft scanner.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so, what did you do to fix it? Thank you!
