I am looking at a 2011 E550c series MB. Any problems I should be aware of? Any suggestions? My SL500 is getting too difficult to enter or get out of (low rider) need a more easier access/egress (room).

There aren't any significant red flags that I am aware of, particularly given that 2011 was the last year of the M273 motor in this body style. Most issues are wear and tear stuff at this point, and outdated tech (no Apple Carplay or Android Auto without modification, etc.).
I will say that the E550 coupe is still pretty low. My buddy with a Corvette even jokingly commented that it was almost like getting in and out of his Corvette. It's obviously not that low, but I can't imagine it's going to be a significant difference from ypur SL. It'll probably be more reliable though lol.

Still figuring out the format etc. for forum information.... The E550 I am looking at does have one issue that I need to address.
Clear Coat peeling in two areas. Is this a common problem? Can it be fixed by a professional without doing the complete car?
Other than that, it has been service extensively by MB, according to the owner. Still looking.
Thanks JD

Also, being a low rider. I had a E series 2011 Cabriolet, for a week, (Bought then CEL came on next day and repair was going to exceed value of car), and don't recall it being as low, or difficult to enter/egress. Is there a seat height difference on a Coupe?

Clear coat is peeling? Bummer. Unless you know of some witchcraft wizard, fixing that probably requires a repaint. Seems like a lot to invest in an old (non-valuable) car unless it only has 20K miles on it or something. Or if you're getting it for thousands below market price. I'm not aware of any widespread problems with clear coat peeling.
Regarding it being low, the coupe should be the same as the convertible, so if you were comfortable in that, you should be good to go!
Kind of a long shot, but are you looking at a white one for $15K with 54K miles? If so, I was wondering why it keeps going down in price. A clear coat issue mght explain that!
