Access electricity for dashcam
2014 E350 C207
I've mounted a dashcam on windshield. It is neatly behind rearview mirror out of sight (pretty much). I want to access power in the rain sensor area. Are there any threads or videos that someone is aware of that will help me with this project?
Or- might someone have a better idea to access power? I'm not interested (at this point) in occupying the ashtray socket.

The picture quality is HD (but not 4k) and it automatically links to my phone via Wi-Fi when I start my car. I think there is a newer version with 4k available now. The only downside is that the case is black while the rest of my car interior is grey.
