no high beam after ballast change
I need your help to diagnose my confusing issue further
On a heavily rainy day, the headlight cover, and the round opening for changing bulb was open and I got water splashed inside the headlight
which caused to no light be on - the left headlight so after an online search, I changed the ballast, I ordered a used one - OEM online and I installed and it worked, and low beam worked but
there is no high beam, no curve light, no and adaptive light, which is shown as a system inoperative for the intelligent light menu
so I thought it was a coding issue but the coding garage told me the ballast control models couldn't be detected or scanned because it not showing to scanners
the headlight work fine as low beam, turn signal, LED, but there is no high beam or curved light
I got these two codes when I scanned the car:
118A00
Communication With Control Unit " Left Headlamp Range Adjustment' Has A Malfunction
9005
Communication With Control Unit 'Left Headlamp Range Adjustment' Has A Malfunction.
i don't know i anyone experienced this before
or what could be the issue
any help is appreciated

Update
It turned out that during the installation of the new ballast, one of the metal pins inside the connector on the ballast was bent and not seated correctly. This improper connection caused the issue.
